Perform

GA4 says one number, the back office another, Google Ads a third. As long as the three don't match, conversion rate and acquisition cost don't mean much.

Perform measures the funnel step by step and reconciles these numbers with your ad platforms.

This package is for you if…

E-commerce and marketplaces

Product page, cart, checkout, purchase: every step must come through with its parameters, otherwise the conversion rate means nothing. It is the core of this package.

Lead-generation funnel

Multi-step forms, appointment booking, online quotes. We measure drop-offs step by step rather than just the volume of leads.

Several paid channels in parallel

Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn: without reliable conversion data, budget decisions are made blindly. This package reconciles the platforms with GA4.

What the Perform package includes

The scope is set in the quote, after the free pre-audit. Nothing is billed along the way unless you have asked for it.

The full Essential scope

  • Full audit of the GTM container and GA4 property.
  • Scoping workshop extended (2 h) on your management indicators.
  • GTM container and dataLayer structured, standardised naming.
  • Consent Mode v2 wired to your CMP and checked in both states.
  • Systematic testing before going live.

Funnel measurement

  • Complete e-commerce tracking: view_item, add_to_cart, begin_checkout, add_payment_info, purchase, with the associated item parameters.
  • Conversion funnel configured in GA4, with an exploration of drop-off points.
  • Multi-step form tracking and intermediate drop-offs.
  • Source segmentation: standardised UTM campaigns, handling of redirects and lost parameters.
  • Gap check between actual orders and reported transactions.

Activation and debrief

  • Conversion tracking to Google Ads and Meta, with volume and deduplication checks.
  • Data Studio dashboard connected to GA4, built around your management questions.
  • Complete tracking plan and configuration documentation.
  • Hands-on workshop (2 h) with your marketing teams on your own data.
  • 60 days of adjustments after go-live.

How the project runs

The common thread stays the same at every step: understand your business questions before touching a single tag, then check every trigger before go-live.

Step 1

Extended audit and scoping

Beyond the container, we look at consistency between your platforms: gaps between GA4, Google Ads and your back office. That is often where the real problem lies.

Step 2

Complete tracking plan

The funnel is documented step by step, with the expected parameters for each event. This document is the reference for testing and for your developers.

Step 3

dataLayer implementation

Structuring the dataLayer on the site, with your developers or CMS, then configuring it in GTM. It is the step that depends most on your technical availability.

Step 4

Platform integration

Google Ads and Meta conversions, deduplication, checking reported volumes over a control period.

Step 5

Funnel testing

The full purchase journey replayed in real conditions, from first click to transaction, with checks on parameters and duplicates.

Step 6

Dashboard and handover

Data Studio connected to your indicators, a hands-on workshop with your teams, documentation delivered and 60 days of adjustments.

Timeline given in working days and as a guide: it starts when access is received. Allow three to four weeks for a complete e-commerce funnel. The dataLayer implementation step depends directly on your developers' availability: it is what determines the real length of the project.

What you keep at the end

Everything produced belongs to you and remains usable without me. The goal isn't to create dependence on a provider.

Complete tracking planThe funnel documented step by step, parameters included.
Usable GA4 funnelDrop-off points visible, not just the overall rate.
Reconciled conversionsGoogle Ads and Meta aligned with what you actually invoice.

Questions about the Perform package

How is it different from the Essential package?

Essential secures the foundations: container, dataLayer, GA4 and a few key conversions. Perform adds measurement of the whole funnel — e-commerce or multi-step forms — reconciliation with your ad platforms and a Data Studio dashboard. If you have no funnel and no media budget, Essential is enough.

Do my developers need to be involved?

Often yes, to push product data into the dataLayer on the server or template side. I provide precise specifications — variable names, expected format, when to push — and test their work. On common CMSs such as Shopify, WooCommerce or PrestaShop, part of it can be covered without specific development.

How long does the project take?

Two to four weeks depending on the funnel's complexity and your developers' availability. Testing a full e-commerce journey alone takes several days, because every step has to be replayed in real conditions.

Can the Data Studio dashboard be edited?

Yes, it belongs to you and remains fully editable. The hands-on workshop covers exactly how to add a dimension or period without breaking the existing structure.

What if my numbers still don't match?

A residual gap between GA4 and your back office is normal — refused consent, ad blockers, different attribution. The goal isn't a perfect match but a gap that is known, explained and stable over time. If the gap remains unexplained, the server-side tracking in the Advanced package is the answer.

A question that isn't on this list?

Thirty minutes on a video call is usually enough to scope a need and find out whether this package is the right one.
